RPI: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

RPI is a Yellow Ribbon School accepting the Yellow Ribbon Scholarship as well as any post 9/11 GI Bill benefit. If you have completed Navy Nuclear Power Training school you are eligible for 31 credits and should apply as a transfer student. There is a student veterans association on campus.

Empire State College

Dedicated staff for Veteran, Active, Guard, Reserve and their families providing pre-enrollment advising, assistance with benefits, application, financial aid, student services, and academics. We offer a lower tuition and waived fees for Veterans. Active, Guard, Reserve and spouses of Active Duty. We also have a process for getting life experience, work experience and certifications that is completely free for our Veterans, Active, Guard and Reserves.

Excelsior College

Excelsior College offers Associates, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business, Health Science. Technology, Liberal Arts, Public Service, and Nursing. Our degrees have flexible transfer policies and accepts credits from your military service, workforce training as well as prior college. Veterans can bypass the application process and directly enroll into non-nursing and graduate degrees to get started sooner.
